Manuka is a 40-foot Dufour, built in France in 2007.
Weighing in at 7,800kg (17,200lb), she has a 7-foot (2.1m) draft and her mast reaches 58 feet (17.6m). Manuka has a saloon, 3 cabins and a toilet/shower. The galley has a 2-ring gas stove, an oven, a fridge and a double sink. As backup to the sails, she has a 55hp Volvo Penta engine, with a 160-litre fuel tank and 330-litre water tanks.
Manuka is fitted with a Raymarine Axiom chart plotter, a Raymarine radar, AIS and radio. An Iridium Go! satellite communication system makes it possible to receive updated weather forecasts daily, as well as making and receiving emergency calls.
